The Dog School was established in 1994 by Mike and Joan Saward-Dumbris and is situated in the middle of the busy western suburbs of Port Elizabeth and yet the dogs are trained in a country atmosphere where guinea fowl and peafowl wander through the training area.

We can proudly say that in the period we have been in operation we have gone from strength to strength, excelling in established competitive areas such as breed, obedience, carting, agility and CD.

An average of 200 owners have joined us each year for our obedience courses. We would like to say thank you to all these people who have supported us to date, and extend a welcome to all our future supporters. We feel that the service we provide and the excellent participation of our members have benefited the dog loving community of Port Elizabeth.
